Principle
We only process personal data where necessary to operate the website or where you have given your consent. You can use this website without tracking; statistical analysis only takes place with your consent.
Hosting and server log files
This website is served as a static site by an infrastructure provider. When the site is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, the resource requested, browser type). This data serves the secure and stable delivery of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 31 FADP and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics (PostHog)
To improve our offering we use the analytics tool PostHog (PostHog Inc.) – only with your consent. We use PostHog's EU cloud with servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt). PostHog collects pseudonymised usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser in order to analyse how the website is used. For this purpose cookies or comparable storage technologies are used in your browser.
PostHog is only loaded after you have agreed via the cookie banner. Without consent no data is collected. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future:
Storing your consent
We store your cookie banner decision (consent or rejection) locally in your browser (localStorage) so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. This storage is technically necessary to honour your choice and does not transmit any data to us. If you clear this website's browser data, the banner will be shown again on your next visit.
Transfers abroad
Where analytics involves processing by service providers located outside Switzerland or the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards (in particular standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You can withdraw any consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@saldio.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).
Changes
We update this privacy policy when our data processing or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
